Make up removal

Hiya lovelies! It’s pretty clear to say that most of us use make up in our daily lives whether it is the office make up, or college make up or just going out in general. And for those of you, who are one of the newbie’s to this arena, you probably would have noticed how the chemicals your makeup products are made up of, affects your skin. Acne breakouts are one of the common shortcomings you can detect of makeup. One of the most common tips you will ever get is to perfect the art of makeup removal.

Make up removal should be done accurately if you wish to get rid of these skin conditions and prep your skin up. We often, due to our busy schedules and exhausted selves forget to even remove make up before bed, let alone do it properly. However, what you must know is that removing make up properly before heading to bed is very necessary. It is mandatory to give some time to let your skin breathe, heal and repair before you head out to face environmental pollutants again. If this is not done, it can lead to breakouts in your skin, also damage the skin pores by blocking them off.

There a lot of products available in the market for the makeup removal process. However if you wish to get this done naturally through home remedies then, that option is available too!  One of the best ways that I have come across to remove make up is through baby wipes. Yes, I know that we are all grownups and baby wipes is an option too far off. But, baby wipes are made very sensitive and gentle so the baby’s skin remains protected and irritation-free at all costs. Therefore, it can be a great help for your skin too. They keep your skin hydrated, irritation-free and soft naturally.

However, if you don’t have baby wipes then just go to your kitchen and take out baking soda and honey. The mixture of the two, not only helps in removing make up but also helps in the cleansing of your skin. Just mix the items and create a paste consistent enough to sit on your skin. Apply it and scrub gently for a minute. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse. Pat your skin dry and put on a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.

You can also make use of the milk sitting in your refrigerator to remove your make up. Just take some milk out in a bowl, dab a cotton ball in it and apply it to your face gently. Do it for about 2 minutes and then rinse it off. Pat your skin dry and put on a moisturizer before heading to bed.

There you go lovelies! These were few of the ways you can use for removing your make up, that too all natural and gentle for your skin! Try them out and let me know how they worked out for you.
